Our summer ridge-runner is packing up their “home” for the season, and we need some help getting out supplies and equipment. Volunteers should meet at the Katahdin Iron Works gatehouse at 8:30 or the Gulf Hagas parking lot at 9:00.

Chairback Gap and Cloud Pond Privy Builds
We’re building new privies at the Chairback Gap and Cloud Pond campsites this summer, and need your help! The plan is for the materials to be helicoptered to these sites on one day during the period August 8-11. We’ll build them after that. There might also be some prep activities on August 16 if that fits your schedule. Access is about 2.5 miles of hiking with ~1,000 feet of elevation gain and a bushwhack.
