Frye Notch Privy Site Prep

Baldpate District

We're building a new privy at Frye Notch, and need your help! On July 22 we'll do the site prep which involves digging to get a flat surface 8'x8' in size. It's about a 3.5 mile walk with 1,700 feet of elevation gain to the campsite. We want to get the site primed for the build on August 12-13 and 19-20!

Cranberry Stream Privy Haul

Bigelow District

We need your help getting materials to the Cranberry campsite on August 31! The privy was pre-built in May and is now packaged into ~150 bundles that are about 15-30 pounds. Volunteers are needed to shoulder this material to the campsite; a group of Colby College students will be there to help too. It's about a 0.9 mile walk with 220 feet of elevation to the campsite. Many hands make lighter work, and we need many hands for this project. Those of you involved in past projects can attest to the camaraderie, satisfaction, and good fun with these projects!
