We're building two tent platforms at the Black Brook campsite on October 12th; your help is welcome! Access is only 0.1 miles from the South Arm Road, but we'll need to cross Black Brook so if the water is high it might be challenging; if it's too high we'll reschedule.
Our summer ridge-runner is packing up their "home" for the season, and we need some help getting out supplies and equipment. Volunteers should meet at the Katahdin Iron Works gatehouse at 8:30 or the Gulf Hagas parking lot at 9:00.
The ridge-runner season is coming to a close, and we need to pack out all of the seasonal gear. It's a 5-mile hike up with 2,000 feet of elevation gain, and then 5-mile return. Please bring a backpack with space in it to bring some items down. Meet at the Stratton Brook Pond trailhead at 8am. Contact Audrey for more information.

Come help with some construction fun! You can help build, organize lumber, or package materials. We will be pre-building 3 privies in Palmyra- come for one day or both! These privies will be built on-site later this season to replace the existing privies at Baldpate, Hall Mountain, and Rainbow Stream campsites.
The Maine Trail Crew will be working on the trail section from the West Branch Piscataquis River to Marble Brook. Volunteers are invited to help with this project!
