Privy Pre-Build

Come help with some construction fun! You can help build, organize lumber, or package materials. We will be pre-building 3 privies in Palmyra- come for one day or both! These privies will be built on-site later this season to replace the existing privies at Chairback Gap, Cloud Pond, and Moxie Bald campsites.

Maine Trail Crew Base Camp 2024 Season Setup!

Base Camp at Lake George Regional Park Skowhegan, Maine

What: The Trail Crew Committee is looking for volunteers to help with cleaning, organizing gear, supplies, trimming brush, and creating a short trail connecting the Dance Hall to the Lake George trail system. More hands make the work move faster. Join other MATC volunteers for a few hours or for the whole day. Where: Lake George Regional Park (West Side), Route 2, Skowhegan, Maine (directions included) What to bring: Gloves, water bottle, hand pruners, a bag lunch, and be dressed for the outdoors.
