Maine Trail Crew Base Camp 2024 Season Setup!

What: The Trail Crew Committee is looking for volunteers to help with cleaning, organizing gear, supplies, trimming brush, and creating a short trail connecting the Dance Hall to the Lake George trail system. More hands make the work move faster. Join other MATC volunteers for a few hours or for the whole day.

Where: Lake George Regional Park (West Side), Route 2, Skowhegan, Maine (directions included)

What to bring: Gloves, water bottle, hand pruners, a bag lunch, and be dressed for the outdoors.

1. Take exit 133 off I-95 for US-201 toward Fairfield/Skowhegan – 0.2 mi
2. Turn right at US-201 N – 6.6 mi
3. Turn right at ME-23 N/Canaan Rd
4. Continue to follow ME-23 N – 7.1 mi
5. Turn left at US-2 W/Main St
6. Continue to follow US-2 W – 1.1 mi
7. Arrive at Lake George Regional Park – West Side parking lot
