Beginners Trail Maintenance Trip
- When: Saturday, September 7th. Meeting time will be determined by the participants. Rain date is Sunday, September 8th.
- Where: Meet at Height of Land parking lot, Route 17, Roxbury, Maine
- How Long? Approximately 4 hours. Can be longer if we are really having fun.
- Who? Anyone who wants to find out what it’s like to be a trail maintainer.
- What to bring? Something to drink, snacks and lunch. Bugs may still be an issue, so insect repellent is recommended. If you have a favorite pair of loppers, bring them too. Gloves are highly recommended. We will provide hand tools, hardhats and safety glasses.
- What do you need to do to sign up? Email Ron Tebbetts at Baldpate@matc.org. Provide a bit of information regarding your past experience with trail maintenance. The class size is limited so we really only want people who have little to no trail maintenance experience.
